The Grants Pirates crushed the visiting Miyamura Patriots baseball team by a count of 8-1 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kirtland Central for a non-league bout on Monday, April 1. Grants will face a Broncos team coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to San Juan (Blanding, UT). The Broncos record now stands at 1-4.
Next, the Patriots face the St. Michael's Horsemen (Santa Fe, NM) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 29. Miyamura will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Horsemen enter the bout with a 5-1 record after their 21-1 non-league win over Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM).
