Laredo LBJ Wolves (Laredo, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Del Rio Rams (Del Rio, TX), 8-4 in a league challenge.

The Wolves now own a 9-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alexander for a 6A Region IV District 30 challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Laredo LBJ will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 11-4 league loss to Eagle Pass (Eagle Pass, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 14-11.

With the loss, Del Rio falls to 16-8 on the campaign. The Rams travel to United South (Laredo, TX) to face the Panthers in a 6A Region IV District 30 challenge on Wednesday, April 3.
