The Fort Meade Miners softball team (Fort Meade, FL), was routed 13-6 in Wednesday's non-league test with the visiting George Jenkins Eagles (Lakeland, FL)

Coming up next, the Eagles encounter the Bartow Yellow Jackets (Bartow, FL) in a 6A District 10 test, on Friday, March 29. George Jenkins will attempt to improve on its 12-2 season record. The Yellow Jackets come into the test with a 15-0 record after their 14-0 non-league win over Winter Haven (Winter Haven, FL).
