Spectators at Wednesday's league match between the Hayward Farmers (Hayward, CA) and the host Tennyson Lancers (Hayward, CA), witnessed Hayward's softball squad prevail over Tennyson by a count of 21-3.

The Farmers now sport a 3-5 record. They play next when they host San Leandro for a West Alameda County-Shoreline match on Friday, April 12.

With the loss, Tennyson moves to 2-5 on the season. The Lancers host Miramonte (Orinda, CA) to face the Matadors in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 10. The Matadors go into the match with a record of 8-3.
