In Wednesday's non-league contest, the Winona Tigers (Winona, MS) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Leake Central Gators (Carthage, MS), by a margin of 18-3.
With the triumph, Winona moves its record to 6-9 on the year. The Tigers host Yazoo County (Yazoo City, MS) to play the Panthers in a 3A Region 3 contest on Thursday, March 28. The Panthers come into the contest with a record of 4-3.
