Sulligent Blue Devils (Sulligent, AL) backers exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host South Lamar Stallions (Millport, AL), 6-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Blue Devils now own a 10-7 record. They take the field next when they host Marion County for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 1. Sulligent will face a Red Raiders squad coming off a 7-5 league win over Brilliant (Brilliant, AL). The Red Raiders record now stands at 2-9.

With the loss, South Lamar falls to 3-6 on the campaign. The Stallions travel to Fayette County (Fayette, AL) to face the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 1. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 8-6.
