California High School Baseball - Barstow wallops Excelsior Charter

The Barstow Aztecs (Barstow, CA) baseball trounced the host Excelsior Charter Eagles (Victorville, CA), 18-8 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Aztecs now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Silverado for a Desert Sky challenge on Wednesday, April 2. Barstow will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 6-2 non-league loss to Lancaster (Lancaster, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 5-6.

With the defeat, Excelsior Charter drops to 2-10 on the year. The Eagles travel to University Prep (Victorville, CA) to clash with the Jaguars in a Cross Valley challenge on Tuesday, April 1. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a record of 6-4. University Prep lost 12-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Indio (Indio, CA)
