North Carolina High School Baseball - Palisades holds off Butler

March 27, 2025: Charlotte, NC 28278

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Palisades Pumas (Charlotte, NC) and the visiting Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC), saw Palisades's baseball team gain a win over Butler by a tally of 15-11.

The Pumas (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Olympic (Charlotte, NC). The Trojans enter the So Meck 4A battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, Olympic was overwhelmed by West Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 22-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Rocky River Ravens (Mint Hill, NC) in a Southwestern 4A battle, on Friday, March 28. Butler will attempt to upgrade on its 5-8 season record. The Ravens enter the battle with a 0-6 record after their 24-7 league loss to Butler (Matthews, NC).
