The Campbell Spartans (Smyrna, GA) baseball got by the visiting McEachern Indians (Powder Springs, GA), 10-9 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Spartans now own a 9-10 record. They take the field next when they host Paulding County for a AAAAAA Region 3 challenge on Friday, March 28. Campbell will clash with a Patriots team coming off a 9-1 league loss to Harrison (Kennesaw, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 5-13.

With the defeat, McEachern drops to 17-5 on the year. The Indians travel to Osborne (Marietta, GA) to clash with the Cardinals in a AAAAAA Region 3 challenge on Friday, March 28. The Cardinals go into the challenge with a record of 8-11. Osborne lost 11-1 in their recent league challenge against Hillgrove (Powder Springs, GA)
