The Challis Vikings baseball squad (Challis, ID), was edged 8-7 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Wendell Trojans (Wendell, ID)

With the triumph, Wendell moves its record to 1-5 on the season. The Trojans host Soda Springs (Soda Springs, ID) to confront the Cardinals in a 3A South East Idaho contest on Saturday, March 29. The Cardinals come into the contest with a record of 2-4.

The Vikings now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Fremont for a 3A Nuclear contest on Saturday, March 29. Challis will confront a Huskies squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Bear Lake (Montpelier, ID). The Huskies record now stands at 2-0.
