GVCS Broadfording Lions (Hagerstown, MD) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Cumberland Valley Christian Blazers (Chambersburg, PA), 10-3 in a league match.

With the triumph, GVCS Broadfording advances its record to 2-3 on the season. The Lions travel to Musselman (Inwood, WV) to battle the Applemen in a non-league match on Monday, March 31. The Applemen come into the match with a record of 3-4. Musselman won 7-1 in their recent non-league match against Pendleton County (Franklin, WV)

The Blazers now have a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calvary Christian Academy for a Mason-Dixon Christian battle on Monday, March 31. Cumberland Valley Christian will face a team coming off a 12-0 non-league loss to Shalom Christian Academy (Chambersburg, PA). The record now stands at 1-2.
