North Carolina High School Baseball - Draughn edges Mitchell

March 27, 2025: Bakersville, NC 28705

The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Draughn Wildcats (Valdese, NC) and the host Mitchell Mountaineers (Bakersville, NC), saw Draughn's baseball team gain a win over Mitchell by a tally of 3-0.

The Wildcats (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Owen (Black Mountain, NC). The Warhorses enter the Western Highlands 1A/2A battle with a 1-10 record.

Next, the Mountaineers face the Mountain Heritage Cougars (Burnsville, NC) in a Western Highlands 1A/2A battle, on Tuesday, April 1. Mitchell will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record.
