The Gallatin County Hawks baseball squad (Junction, IL), 3-1 in Thursday's league contest with the host Galatia/Thompsonville Bearcats (Galatia, IL)

With the triumph, Galatia/Thompsonville moves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Bearcats travel to Vienna (Vienna, IL) to confront the Eagles in a non-league contest on Friday, March 28. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 4-3. Vienna won 15-2 in their recent non-league contest against Cobden (Cobden, IL)

The Hawks now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Goreville for a non-league contest on Monday, March 31. Gallatin County will confront a Blackcats squad coming off a 13-5 non-league win over Murphysboro (Murphysboro, IL). The Blackcats record now stands at 5-4.
