California High School Baseball - Gustine nips Mariposa County

In Thursday's league game, the visiting Gustine Reds baseball team scored a close 5-4 win over the Mariposa County Grizzlies.

The Reds (11-4) will now prepare for their game against Denair (Denair, CA). The Coyotes go into the Southern Athletic League contest with a 5-4 record. In their last contest, Denair was edged by Le Grand (Le Grand, CA), 11-1, in a league contest.

The Grizzlies now possess a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Delhi for a Southern Athletic League contest on Saturday, March 29. Mariposa County will confront a Hawks squad coming off a 11-1 league win over Waterford (Waterford, CA). The Hawks record now stands at 5-6.
