In Thursday's league game, the host River Bluff Gators baseball team scored a close 7-5 win over the Irmo Yellow Jackets.

The Gators (10-1) will now prepare for their game against Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC). The Rebels go into the non-league game with a 7-2 record. In their last game, Mid-Carolina nudged Newberry (Newberry, SC), 16-1, in a non-league game.
