The Lansing Lions (Lansing, KS) baseball got by the visiting Piper Pirates (Kansas City, KS), 3-2 in Thursday's league challenge.
The Lions now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Spring Hill for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 31. Lansing will clash with a Broncos team coming off a 9-6 non-league loss to Shawnee Mission South (Shawnee Mission, KS). The Broncos record now stands at 2-1.
