West Virginia High School Baseball - Lincoln County loses to Winfield

The Lincoln County Panthers baseball squad (Hamlin, WV), was overwhelmed 16-1 in Thursday's league contest with the host Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV)

With the triumph, Winfield moves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Generals host Logan (Logan, WV) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league contest on Friday, March 28. The Wildcats come into the contest with a record of 1-0. Logan won 13-0 in their recent non-league contest against Tug Valley (Williamson, WV)

The Panthers now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hannan for a non-league contest on Saturday, March 29. Lincoln County will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 8-1 league loss to St. Joseph Central (Huntington, WV). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-5.
