Virginia High School Baseball - Western Albemarle holds off Louisa County

In Thursday's league game, the host Western Albemarle Warriors baseball team scored a close 12-8 win over the Louisa County Lions.

The Warriors (1-2) will now prepare for their game against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets go into the Jefferson game with a 0-4 record. In their last game, Orange County was overwhelmed by Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA), 6-4, in a non-league game.

Next, the Lions play the Spotsylvania Knights (Spotsylvania, VA) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 31. Louisa County will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Knights go into the game with a 1-0 record after their 7-1 non-league win over Massaponax (Spotsylvania, VA).
