Pennsylvania High School Baseball - Schuylkill Haven wallops Mahanoy Area

The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Schuylkill Haven Hurricanes (Schuylkill Haven, PA) and the visiting Mahanoy Area Golden Bears (Mahanoy City, PA), saw Schuylkill Haven's baseball team gain a win over Mahanoy Area by a tally of 18-4.

The Hurricanes (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Kutztown (Kutztown, PA). The Cougars enter the non-league battle with a 4-0 record. In their last battle, Kutztown prevailed over Brandywine Heights Area (Topton, PA), 14-3, in a league battle.

Next, the Golden Bears face the Notre Dame Spartans (East Stroudsburg, PA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 29. Mahanoy Area will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record. The Spartans enter the battle with a 0-3 record after their 12-2 non-league loss to Pocono Mountain West (Pocono Summit, PA).
