The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Upper Perkiomen Indians (Pennsburg, PA) and the host Norristown Eagles (Norristown, PA), saw Upper Perkiomen's baseball team gain a win over Norristown by a tally of 8-1.

The Indians (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Pottsgrove (Pottsgrove, PA). The Falcons enter the Pioneer battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Pottsgrove held off Pottstown (Pottstown, PA), 7-1, in a league challenge.

With the defeat, Norristown drops to 2-2 on the year. The Eagles host Upper Merion Area (King of Prussia, PA) to clash with the Vikings in a Pioneer challenge on Friday, March 28. The Vikings go into the challenge with a record of 1-2. Upper Merion Area lost 15-7 in their recent league challenge against Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA)
