The Pope John Paul II baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Pottstown Trojans to 0 in the league win on Thursday.

The now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Pottsgrove for a Pioneer test on Monday, March 31. Pope John Paul II will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 6-2 league win over Upper Perkiomen (Pennsburg, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Pottstown drops to 0-2 on the year. The Trojans host Norristown (Norristown, PA) to clash with the Eagles in a Pioneer test on Tuesday, April 1. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 2-4. Norristown lost 18-6 in their recent non-league test against Bensalem (Bensalem, PA)
