Georgia High School Baseball - Union County loses to Ringgold

In Thursday's league bout, the Ringgold Tigers (Ringgold, GA) baseball squad the host Union County Panthers (Blairsville, GA), by a tally of 9-5.

Next up, the Tigers encounter the Rockmart Yellowjackets (Rockmart, GA) in a AA Region 7 bout, on Friday, March 28. Ringgold will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record. The Yellowjackets enter the bout with a 14-4 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Lovett (Atlanta, GA).

The Panthers (8-9) will now prepare for their bout against Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe (Fort Oglethorpe, GA). The Warriors enter the AA Region 7 bout with a 2-16 record. In their last bout, Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe was overwhelmed by Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA), 7-1, in a league bout.
