The Washington Generals (Greenville, MS) baseball trounced the host St. Joseph Fighting Irish (Greenville, MS), 15-0 in Thursday's league challenge.

The Generals now own a 17-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to DeSoto for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 31. Washington will clash with a Thunderbirds team coming off a 6-5 league loss to West Memphis Christian (West Memphis, AR). The Thunderbirds record now stands at 0-5.

With the defeat, St. Joseph drops to 1-3 on the year. The Fighting irish host Manchester Academy (Yazoo City, MS) to clash with the Mavericks in a MAIS 4A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, April 1. The Mavericks go into the challenge with a record of 21-6. Manchester Academy won 16-2 in their recent league challenge against Greenville Christian (Greenville, MS)
