The La Mirada Matadores topped the host Firebaugh Falcons volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Matadores face the Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA) in a Mid-Cities game, on Tuesday, April 1. La Mirada will attempt to advance on its 4-10 season record. The Monsoons go into the game with a 0-13 record after their 3-0 league loss to Norwalk (Norwalk, CA).

The Falcons (8-9) will now prepare for their game against Dominguez (Compton, CA). The Dons go into the Mid-Cities game with a 9-5 record. In their last game, Dominguez gained a win over Lynwood (Lynwood, CA), 3-2, in a league game.
