The Grand Island Islanders baseball squad (Grand Island, NE), was overwhelmed 8-3 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Lincoln Southeast Knights (Lincoln, NE)

With the triumph, Lincoln Southeast moves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Knights travel to Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE) to confront the Links in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 1. The Links come into the contest with a record of 2-2. Lincoln High lost 10-9 in their recent non-league contest against Nebraska City (Nebraska City, NE)

The Islanders now possess a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lincoln East for a non-league contest on Wednesday, April 2.
