Florida High School Flag Football - East Ridge nudges Eustis

The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the East Ridge Knights (Clermont, FL) and the visiting Eustis Panthers (Eustis, FL), witnessed East Ridge's flag football squad edge Eustis by a tally of 6-0.
The Knights (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Lake Minneola (Minneola, FL). The Hawks come into the non-league outing with a 10-0 record. In their last outing, Lake Minneola edged South Lake (Groveland, FL), 34-0, in a league outing.
With the defeat, Eustis drops to 0-7 on the campaign.
Getting the second possession of overtime, Senior QB Fabiola Zapata threw nine yards to Sophomore receiver Tina Feliciano and followed up with a one yard toss to Junior center Giulianna Casas (who promptly spuna round and ran another eight yards into the end zone, holding the ball out as she is trained to do).
