The Bishop McGuinness Villains soccer squad scored 11 points and held the host Carver Yellowjackets to 0 in the Villains league victory on Thursday.
The Villains now hold a 10-2 record. They play next when they host Piedmont Classical for a Northwest Piedmont 1A bout on Tuesday, April 1. Bishop McGuinness will play a Bobcats squad coming off a 7-0 league win over Triad Math and Science Academy (Greensboro, NC). The Bobcats record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Carver moves to 0-4 on the year. The Yellowjackets host Bethany Community (Summerfield, NC) to play the Wolves in a Northwest Piedmont 1A bout on Monday, March 31. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Bethany Community won 8-0 in their recent league bout against Triad Math and Science Academy (Greensboro, NC)
