The Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes smashed the visiting John Paul II Catholic Saints soccer squad by a score of 5-0 in Thursday's league outing.
The Hurricanes (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Coastal Christian (Wilmington, NC). The Centurions enter the NCISAA Coastal Plain outing with a 7-1 record. In their last outing, Coastal Christian tipped Wayne Christian (Goldsboro, NC), 9-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Saints confront the Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, March 29. John Paul II Catholic will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Crusaders enter the outing with a 1-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over Christchurch School (Christchurch, VA).
