The Upson-Lee Knights soccer squad scored 1 points and held the visiting Luella Lions to 0 in the Knights non-league victory on Thursday.
The Knights now possess a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Sandy Creek for a 3A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, April 1. Upson-Lee will play a Patriots squad coming off a 9-0 non-league win over Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 12-1.
With the loss, Luella moves to 10-4 on the year. The Lions host Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 1. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-10. Mary Persons won 1-0 in their recent league bout against Troup County (LaGrange, GA)
