Virginia High School Baseball - Western Branch wallops Deep Creek

The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) and the visiting Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA), saw Western Branch's baseball team gain a win over Deep Creek by a tally of 11-1.

The Bruins (2-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lakeland (Suffolk, VA). The Cavaliers enter the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Lakeland prevailed over Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA), 19-6, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Hornets face the Norview Pilots (Norfolk, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 31. Deep Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record.
