The North Johnston Panthers baseball team scored 22 runs and held the host Eastern Wayne Warriors to 0 in the Panthers non-league win on Thursday.
The Panthers now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Princeton for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 1. North Johnston will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 10-8 non-league loss to C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-1.
With the defeat, Eastern Wayne drops to 0-1 on the year. The Warriors travel to North Johnston (Kenly, NC) to play the Panthers in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 29. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 2-2.
