Colorado High School Baseball - Fossil Ridge nips Fort Collins

The Fossil Ridge SaberCats baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Fort Collins Lambkins to 5 in the SaberCats league win on Thursday.

The SaberCats now hold a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Regis Jesuit for a non-league test on Saturday, March 29. Fossil Ridge will play a Raiders team coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Cherry Creek (Greenwood Village, CO). The Raiders record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Fort Collins drops to 2-5 on the year. The Lambkins travel to Windsor (Windsor, CO) to play the Wizards in a test on Tuesday, April 1. The Wizards go into the test with a record of 2-1. Windsor won 17-2 in their recent non-league test against Denver East (Denver, CO)
