California High School Baseball - Oakmont wallops Wheatland

March 27, 2025: Wheatland, CA 95692

The crowd at Thursday's league battle between the Oakmont Vikings (Roseville, CA) and the host Wheatland Pirates (Wheatland, CA), saw Oakmont's baseball team gain a win over Wheatland by a tally of 16-1.

The Vikings (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Placer (Auburn, CA). The Hillmen enter the non-league battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, Placer was overwhelmed by Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA), 17-6, in a league battle.

Next, the Pirates face the Mira Loma Matadors (Sacramento, CA) in a battle, on Monday, March 31. Wheatland will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Matadors enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 28-0 non-league loss to Bear River (Grass Valley, CA).
