North Carolina High School Baseball - Wake Forest holds off Wakefield

March 27, 2025: Wake Forest, NC 27587

The Wake Forest Cougars baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Wakefield Wolverines to 2 in the Cougars non-league win on Thursday.

The Cougars now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Heritage for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8.

With the defeat, Wakefield drops to 8-3 on the year. The Wolverines host Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC) to play the Golden Hawks in a non-league test on Monday, March 31. The Golden Hawks go into the test with a record of 6-3. Holly Springs won 12-1 in their recent non-league test against Green Level (Cary, NC)
