With the triumph, McClatchy improves its record to 6-1 on the year. The Lions host Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA) to play the Miners in a non-league game on Friday, March 28. The Miners enter the game with a record of 0-4. Nevada Union lost 13-11 in their recent league game against Placer (Auburn, CA)

The Lancers now hold a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Antelope for a game on Tuesday, April 8.
