The Wakefield School Fighting Owls triumphed over the visiting Langley Saxons softball squad by a count of 12-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Fighting Owls play the Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, March 28. Wakefield School will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record.
The Saxons (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against James Madison (Vienna, VA). The Warhawks enter the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, James Madison overcame McLean (McLean, VA), 10-4, in a non-league challenge.
