With the victory, Ashley advances its record to 2-4 on the season. The Screaming Eagle travel to Croatan (Newport, NC) to encounter the Cougars in a non-league battle on Friday, March 28. The Cougars come into the battle with a record of 9-1. Croatan won 9-4 in their recent non-league battle against Broughton (Raleigh, NC)

The Wildcats now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laney for a Mideastern battle on Tuesday, April 1. New Hanover will encounter a Buccaneers team coming off a 12-7 league win over Hoggard (Wilmington, NC). The Buccaneers record now stands at 7-1.
