Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Aynor Blue Jackets (Aynor, SC) and the visiting Marlboro County Bulldogs (Bennettsville, SC), saw Aynor's soccer squad hold off Marlboro County by a count of 1-0.

The Blue Jackets (5-4) will now prepare for their battle against Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC). The Warriors enter the AAA Region 5 battle with a 11-3 record. In their last battle, Waccamaw was edged by Ashley Ridge (Summerville, SC), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Dillon Wildcats (Dillon, SC) in a AAA Region 5 battle, on Friday, March 28. Marlboro County will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 1-6 record after their 1-0 league loss to Georgetown (Georgetown, SC).
