Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Veterans Warhawks (Kathleen, GA) and the visiting Lee County Trojans (Leesburg, GA), saw Veterans's soccer squad knock off Lee County by a count of 3-1.
The Warhawks (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Perry (Perry, GA). The Panthers enter the non-league battle with a 12-2 record. In their last battle, Perry tipped Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA), 4-3, in a league battle.
Next up, the Trojans battle the Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, April 5. Lee County will attempt to upgrade on its 10-2 season record. The Vikings enter the battle with a 8-6 record after their 4-0 league loss to Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA).
