Tennessee High School Softball - Gibbs bounces Anderson County

March 27, 2025: Clinton, TN 37716

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Gibbs Eagles (Corryton, TN) and the host Anderson County Mavericks (Clinton, TN), observed Gibbs's softball team prevail over Anderson County by a tally of 11-1.

The Eagles (15-1) will now prepare for their bout against Farragut (Knoxville, TN). The Admirals go into the non-league bout with a 14-3 record. In their last bout, Farragut knocked off Hardin Valley Academy (Knoxville, TN), 17-4, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Mavericks clash with the Lenoir City Panthers (Lenoir City, TN) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 28. Anderson County will attempt to advance on its 11-7 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 6-3 record after their 9-3 non-league win over Harriman (Harriman, TN).
