The Animo Venice Pirates softball team scored 16 runs and held the host Los Angeles Academy of Arts & Enterprise Wolves to 1 in the Pirates league win on Thursday.

The Pirates now sport a 3-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Animo Robinson for a Crosstown/Ocean battle on Friday, March 28. Animo Venice will confront a Monarchs team coming off a 22-21 league loss to Stella High Charter Academy (Los Angeles, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Los Angeles Academy of Arts & Enterprise moves to 1-2 on the season. The Wolves host Animo Robinson (Los Angeles, CA) to confront the Monarchs in a Crosstown/Ocean battle on Wednesday, April 2. The Monarchs come into the battle with a record of 0-5. Animo Robinson lost 19-8 in their recent league battle against Animo Venice (Los Angeles, CA)
