West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Apollo Hawks (Glendale, AZ), 24-1 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, West Point improves its record to 8-6 on the year. The Dragons travel to Shadow Ridge (Surprise, AZ) to play the Stallions in a contest on Tuesday, April 1. The Stallions enter the contest with a record of 6-6.

The Hawks now hold a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Boulder Creek for a non-league contest on Monday, March 31. Apollo will face a Jaguars squad coming off a 6-2 league win over Pinnacle (Phoenix, AZ). The Jaguars record now stands at 13-3.
