The Bath County Wildcats softball team scored 5 runs and held the host George Rogers Clark Cardinals to 0 in the Wildcats non-league win on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oldham County for a non-league battle on Sunday, March 30. Bath County will confront a Colonels team coming off a 16-6 non-league win over Cooper (Union, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 5-1.

With the loss, George Rogers Clark moves to 7-1 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Bourbon County (Paris, KY) to confront the Colonels in a District 40 battle on Friday, March 28. The Colonels come into the battle with a record of 2-6. Bourbon County lost 13-0 in their recent league battle against Montgomery County (Mt. Sterling, KY)
