New Hope Trojans (Columbus, MS) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Clarksdale Wildcats (Clarksdale, MS), 24-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, New Hope upgrades its record to 11-6 on the year. The Trojans travel to Corinth (Corinth, MS) to play the Warriors in a 5A Region 1 game on Tuesday, April 1. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 6-8. Corinth lost 10-3 in their recent league game against Lafayette (Oxford, MS)
