New Mexico High School Softball - Rio Grande bounces Del Norte

March 27, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87110

The Rio Grande Ravens softball team scored 17 runs and held the host Del Norte Knights to 2 in the Ravens non-league win on Thursday.

The Ravens now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eldorado for a non-league battle on Monday, March 31. Rio Grande will encounter a Golden Eagles team coming off a 18-6 non-league win over Valley (Albuquerque, NM). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Del Norte moves to 1-12 on the season. The Knights travel to East Mountain (Sandia Park, NM) to play the Timberwolves in a non-league game on Saturday, March 29. The Timberwolves enter the game with a record of 0-10. East Mountain lost 32-7 in their recent non-league game against Hope Christian (Albuquerque, NM)
