California High School Softball - Escalon bounces Sonora

March 27, 2025: Escalon, CA 95320

The Escalon Cougars softball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Sonora Wildcats to 6 in the Cougars league win on Thursday.

The Cougars now sport a 4-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hilmar for a Trans Valley League battle on Tuesday, April 1. Escalon will confront a Yellowjackets team coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to Dos Palos (Dos Palos, CA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, Sonora moves to 3-7 on the season. The Wildcats host Orestimba (Newman, CA) to confront the Warriors in a Trans Valley League battle on Tuesday, April 1. The Warriors come into the battle with a record of 4-8. Orestimba won 10-6 in their recent league battle against Escalon (Escalon, CA)
