The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Fort Frye Cadets (Beverly, OH) and the visiting Shenandoah Zeps (Sarahsville, OH), observed Fort Frye's softball team get by Shenandoah by a tally of 8-4.

The Cadets (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Barnesville (Barnesville, OH). The Shamrocks go into the non-league bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Barnesville tipped Buckeye Local (Rayland, OH), 9-0, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Zeps clash with the St. Clairsville Red Devils (St. Clairsville, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, March 28. Shenandoah will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 16-1 league loss to Harrison Central (Cadiz, OH).
