Grant Park Dragons (Grant Park, IL) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Illinois Lutheran Chargers (Crete, IL), 10-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Grant Park improves its record to 2-3 on the year. The Dragons host Beecher (Beecher, IL) to face the Bobcats in a River Valley game on Thursday, April 3. The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 3-0.

The Chargers now hold a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Rich Township for a non-league game on Saturday, March 29. Illinois Lutheran will face a Raptors squad coming off a 16-9 non-league loss to Bremen (Midlothian, IL). The Raptors record now stands at 0-3.
