In Thursday's league test, the Hazel Green Trojans (Hazel Green, AL) softball squad overwhelmed the host Mae Jemison Jaguars (Huntsville, AL), by a tally of 16-0.
Next, the Trojans meet the Athens Golden Eagles (Athens, AL) in a 6A Area 15 test, on Tuesday, April 1. Hazel Green will attempt to advance on its 10-5 season record. The Golden Eagles go into the test with a 15-8 record after their 9-5 non-league loss to Wicksburg (Newton, AL).
The Jaguars (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Woodville (Woodville, AL). The Panthers go into the non-league test with a 0-7 record. In their last test, Woodville was routed by Randolph School (Huntsville, AL), 15-2, in a non-league test.
