North Carolina High School Softball - Pasquotank County succumbs to Holmes

March 27, 2025: Elizabeth City, NC 27909

In Thursday's league test, the Holmes Aces (Edenton, NC) softball squad overwhelmed the host Pasquotank County Panthers (Elizabeth City, NC), by a tally of 15-5.

Next, the Aces clash with the Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) in a Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A test, on Tuesday, April 1. Holmes will attempt to advance on its 7-3 season record. The Knights go into the test with a 6-5 record after their 10-9 league win over Manteo (Manteo, NC).

The Panthers (4-4) will now prepare for their test against Manteo (Manteo, NC). The Redskins go into the Northeastern Coastal 2A/3A test with a 8-4 record. In their last test, Manteo was routed by Currituck County (Barco, NC), 10-9, in a league test.
